Margarita Samanoglou is the founder and lead wedding planner of Mykonos Weddings. She was born and raised in Mykonos island where she lives permanently with her husband and daughters, epitomizing the quintessential local expert.

Margarita's journey into wedding planning and event management has been a natural progression, guided by her academic background in Marketing Management at the American College of Greece, Deree where she also recently further honed her expertise, earning a Graduate Diploma Degree in Strategic Communications and Public Relations.

Her initiation into the world of weddings dates back to 2010 when a friend entrusted her with organizing his own special day. That was when she realized that wedding planning in Mykonos would not be just a profession but a true calling, seamlessly blending her organizational prowess, innovative problem-solving skills, and creativity, all fueled by her genuine love for her island. Her intimate connection to Mykonos is a key element that sets her apart.

As a local, Margarita personally knows almost everyone on the island, including Mykonos vendors and suppliers. This unique advantage positions her as a trailblazer in the industry, offering insights and access that non-locals simply cannot match. Her forward-thinking approach is complemented by her extensive experience in the industry. Over the years, Margarita has encountered and expertly navigated every conceivable challenge, making her adept at swiftly and effectively resolving any issues that may arise.

Meet Evelina

Evelina Vakali has been the latest addition and a truly valuable member of Dream Weddings Mykonos team since 2019. Even though her studies originally lay in the medical field, she was born and raised with a deep passion for arts and creation, leading her to engage in multiple related projects and jobs from a very young age. Growing up, she always wanted to combine her will to help and connect with people in moments that were important with her artistic nature and love for innovation.

We discovered her while she was working alongside a wedding photographer at the time, and she has been our head of Client Communication ever since, gradually progressing to a now full-time associate event planner overseeing vendors, wedding design, decoration, and event coordination.
 
Her fresh and innovative approach infuses every project with a touch of originality. Her meticulous attention to detail and keen eye for picture-perfect moments ensures that each element of an event is thoughtfully considered, adding a layer of sophistication to the overall wedding design.
