Iman & Reda

A Luxury Destination Wedding in Mykonos

Iman & Reda | Sunset Ceremony & Elegant Reception at Royal Myconian Hotel
Following an unforgettable Moroccan-inspired henna celebration, Iman & Reda’s wedding day unfolded as a seamless continuation of their story—bringing together heritage, elegance, and the unmistakable beauty of a destination wedding in Mykonos.
With guests traveling from Morocco, the United States, and across the world, the celebration was thoughtfully designed as a complete experience—one that balanced emotion, aesthetic refinement, and effortless flow from one moment to the next.

Preparations: Style, Anticipation & Excitement

The day began with a quiet sense of anticipation as both Iman and Reda prepared for the celebration ahead.

Iman’s bridal looks captured the essence of modern elegance—refined, radiant, and intentionally understated. Designed to complement both the Mykonos setting and the overall wedding aesthetic, her styling allowed her natural beauty to take center stage. Working alongside her stylist, Umimis, the result was a series of looks that transitioned seamlessly from the softness of the ceremony to the energy of the evening celebration.
And speaking of celebrations, Iman fully embraced the spirit of a true Mykonos bride icon—surprising the guests with not one, not two, but four different bridal looks throughout the day and night! Each perfectly suited to the moment, adding another layer of glamour to an already unforgettable celebration and proving that when it comes to bridal fashion, more really can be more.

Meanwhile, Reda prepared for the day in impeccable style. Effortlessly elegant and fashion-forward, he was ready well before the ceremony, patiently waiting for one of the most anticipated moments of the day—the couple's first look.

The First Look: A Moment Before the Magic
Before the music, the guests, and the excitement of the ceremony, Iman and Reda shared a private first look at the truly royal Myconian hotel premises.

Away from the anticipation of the day, the couple took a few moments to exchange quiet words, heartfelt smiles, and embrace the significance of what was about to unfold. It was an intimate pause before the celebration began—a chance to be together, reflect, and fully take in the moment.

The result was a collection of beautifully elegant photographs filled with genuine emotion and connection. And while a few happy tears were certainly shed, we're pleased to report that the bridal makeup remained absolutely flawless.

A Sunset Ceremony in Mykonos
Set against one of the island’s most captivating backdrops, the ceremony took place overlooking the iconic Mykonos sunset.

A crisp white aisle guided guests toward the altar, framed by an abundance of white and soft green florals that created a sense of quiet luxury. The floral compositions, curated by Studio 7 Flowers, were intentionally organic—enhancing the natural landscape while adding depth and texture to the setting.

As guests arrived, the sound of a live violinist filled the air, setting a calm and emotional tone. The music built gently, leading into the bride’s entrance and a ceremony that beautifully celebrated both the couple's love story and heritage.

Iman and Reda exchanged their vows within a sophisticated white floral setting, surrounded by their favorite people dressed in the most vibrant colors and joyful traditional attire. The visual contrast was striking—a timeless destination wedding in Mykonos infused with the richness, warmth, and traditions of Morocco. It was a beautiful reflection of how Mykonos continues to attract couples from around the world, offering the perfect backdrop for celebrations that honor culture, heritage, and personal identity while embracing the beauty of the Greek islands.

Adding even more meaning to the ceremony was a symbolic sand ritual, where two separate paths were blended into one. As the sands merged together, they created a lasting representation of Iman and Reda's new shared journey—one built on love, partnership, and a future that will forever be intertwined.

Capturing the Experience
Every moment of the day was captured with a refined, editorial approach by Thanasis Kaiafas, whose work reflects both the intimacy and scale of the celebration.
During the cocktail hour, while guests enjoyed the atmosphere, the couple stepped away for a series of private portraits—quiet moments that allowed them to fully take in the significance of the day.
The videography team, Chris & Panos, documented the celebration in motion, creating a timeless visual narrative through cinematic reels and film.

Cocktail Hour at Golden Hour
Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into a relaxed yet elevated cocktail hour, set against the golden hues of the Mykonos evening.
A live saxophonist introduced a contemporary energy, blending seamlessly with the setting and creating a vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere. It was a moment of pause—where guests could connect, unwind, and absorb the beauty of the surroundings before the evening unfolded further.

An Elegant Reception Under the Stars
As night fell, the celebration moved into a meticulously designed reception space—one that reflected both luxury and intention.
A custom double S-shaped table layout became the focal point of the design, encouraging a sense of connection and flow among guests. The tables were adorned with abundant florals and elevated by statement chandeliers, creating a layered and immersive environment.
Every element—from the textures and lighting to the spatial flow—was carefully considered, resulting in a setting that felt both grand and inviting: a majestic garden scenery in full bloom under the Mykonos sky.

Dinner, Music & Celebration
The evening unfolded effortlessly, beginning with an elegant dinner experience and gradually transitioning into a vibrant celebration.
A live Moroccan band, Ahmed Slaoui Daoui, brought rhythm and cultural depth to the night, while the DJ carried the energy forward—keeping the dance floor alive well into the early hours.
The wedding cake by Nice Cream Mykonos marked a sweet highlight of the evening, before the celebration reached its peak with a spectacular fireworks display by Noe Fireworks—illuminating the Mykonos sky in a truly unforgettable finale.

A Destination Wedding to Remember
Iman & Reda’s wedding was a celebration that captured the essence of a luxury destination wedding in Mykonos—where every detail is intentional, every moment is meaningful, and every guest feels part of something truly special.
From the sunset ceremony to the final moments on the dance floor, the experience was designed not just as an event, but as a story—one that will be remembered for years to come.
