Wedding guests enjoying the vibes of a henna pre wedding party, decorated venue with warm colors and textiles on this arabian party in Mykonos

Suzanne  & Ryan

Following a lively Greek Night Welcome Party, a scenic Delos Boat Cruise, and an intimate Sabbath dinner in Mykonos, Suzanne and Ryan’s Henna Night marked the grand finale in their unforgettable series of pre-wedding celebrations in Greece. This enchanting evening beautifully paid tribute to the bride’s Tunisian heritage and was one of the most enjoyable events for us to design and create as destination wedding planners in Mykonos.

Held at the stunning Saint John Hotel Mykonos, with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and a mesmerizing sunset, the venue was transformed into a warm, Arabian-inspired oasis. Deep red and vibrant orange fabrics draped the space, while carpets, pillows, and low coffee tables created a cozy and luxurious lounge area. A dedicated hookah corner became an instant favorite among the guests, while hundreds of candles illuminated every corner, table, and even the ceiling—adding a truly magical glow.

One standout feature was the decorative spice table, a creative tribute to Middle Eastern traditions. Featuring an array of colorful spices, peppers, aromatics, and vintage Eastern accents, it delighted the senses and perfectly set the tone for the evening.

The dress code embraced vibrant and colorful attire, and as guests arrived, the space came alive with joyful hues and lively celebration. Staying true to the kosher catering requirements, Sfez Traiteur provided exquisite canapés, refreshing drinks, and a buffet filled with rich, flavorful dishes that everyone loved.

The energy of the night was electric—traditional Middle Eastern music filled the air, accompanied by live Darbuka drumming and a captivating belly dancer performance. The bride and groom joined in the dancing, inviting everyone to celebrate alongside them in true festive spirit.

At the heart of the evening was the Henna ceremony, a meaningful and symbolic ritual marking Suzanne and Ryan’s journey into marriage. The Henna ritual beautifully honored their heritage and created a heartfelt connection between family, culture, and celebration.

As the night continued under the stars, the DJ brought vibrant beats that kept the dance floor full until the very end.

This extraordinary Henna Night in Mykonos was the perfect conclusion to an incredible series of destination pre-wedding events, setting the stage for the main event everyone was eagerly anticipating—Suzanne and Ryan’s Mykonos luxury Jewish wedding.
